Pashtun people live in southeastern Afghanistan and the northwestern province of Pakistan, at the crossroads of great civilizations. Moving frequently, carrying their dwelling with them, they are traditionally pastoral nomads. Over the centuries they developed a very refined craft. These walnut wood spice boxes are beautifully handmade. Each of them is one of a kind. We used ours to hold on our precious jewelry.
